Operator Training Options

Level 1 Competent Operator Training

Level 1 is designed for entry level individuals interested in a career as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

  • Operator safety awareness, basic machine familiarization training and an introduction to earth moving fundamentals on one machine family
  • Provides a base foundation and along with additional “stick time”, an individual can develop their skills to operate safely and proficiently
  • Attendees receive a Certificate of Completion after completing the training session including the written, safety and practical exams
  • Maximum of 4 students per course, with a focus one machine family
  • Class runs 2 days

Level 2 Professional Operator Training

Level 2 is designed towards refinement and enhancement of experienced operator skills.

    • Focuses on:

Safety
Maintenance Inspections
Monitoring Systems
Control Familiarization
Operating Techniques
Applications
Stick Time

  • Experienced participants benefit by refining operating techniques and learning application tips and knowledge
  • Attendees receive a Certificate of Completion after completing the training session including the written, safety and practical exams
  • Recommended for students with a minimum of 5 years of operator experience
  • Maximum of 4 students per course with a focus on one machine family
  • Class runs 2 days
